As a matter of fact, I've already forked their repository, but stopped
at the MySQL stuff because I neither have a MySQL server running, nor
have experience with the mysql-native API (nor enough time to spare to
get around these currently). There also are some setup scripts that
still need to be adjusted/written.
Then I'd also like to make some basic performance tuning before this is
getting benchmarked, as it is very well possible that there have been
some performance regressions over the last months. So right now the
issue is pure lack of time/man power.
