Hi everybody, I have couple of questions regarding VibeNews:
Q1: Is there possibility to import articles from some other news servers?
Q2: Is there a plan to have mailing-list like functionality? (weekly or monthly digest)
Q3: Per-group access control?
Btw. perhaps we should have "vibenews" group?

Not currently, but it sounds like a good idea and should be quite
straight forward. I can't make any promise that I'll be able to do it in
the foreseeable future, though, unfortunately.

This can be done in the admin front end by assigning "auth tags" (auth
group names) to a newsgroup. Read only and read/write access can be
controlled separately. Any user that has a matching auth tag assigned
will then get access to the group. The UI for this could be improved...

Ooops dito ;) The GUI accidentially got committed, although the
underlying functionality is still missing. But yes, this is planned. Not
really a mailing list interface, but at least to support simple news
digests.
