I have recently tried to use vibe.d in micro-project after some time of silence and was unpleasantly surprised that last release (0.7.16) does not work with last dmd release (2.063.2), hitting several language changes (slice assignment, shared constructors). It is fixed in master, of course, but I don't think having broken actual releases and forcing everyone to get ~master via dub is a proper way.

vibe.d should probably have release that immediately follows DMD one and assures compatibility, even if there are no other changes

Opinion?

I fully agree. Usually I actually did it that way more or less, but this time it somehow got forgotten. In any case I'll make a release ASAP.

Thanks!
