I am the organizational admin for the D programming language's application for the 2016 Google Summer of Code. I wanted to ask the Vibe.D community if there are any potential projects to improve Vibe.D. The current ideas page is:

Sorry for the late reply, just found this in my drafts folder. Some
potential ideas:

  • Write a Phobos module for native event loop abstraction (à la
    libasync)
  • Integrate the vibe.web.web/rest modules with [insert popular JS MVC
    framework here]

DUB related:

  • Write a new dependency resolver with better error messages and better
    worst-case performance
  • Implement C/C++ build support

The main problem is that I don't know if I'll be able to act as a mentor
myself due to an ongoing severe lack of time.
