Is the registry update to support dub.json? I tried to add a package and I got the following error message:

The code was already there, but the registry binary was outdated. I've
rebuilt the registry with the latest additions now, so it should accept
the repository (didn't personally test to register dub.json yet, though).

It still doesn't work. I'm trying to add https://github.com/jacob-carlborg/mambo. Is there something else I did wrong?

There was still a bug lurking, fixed now and registering mambo also
works for me.
